Our COVID-19 Policies

Doing our part.

We are not doctors, and we don’t even play ones on TV! As such, we have no information apart from what the CDC, and state/local/federal governments are saying and advising.

We are very conscious of the fact that spanking parties aren’t exactly the best location for social distancing, which is why we canceled our 2020 and 2021 events. There isn’t a version of a spanking party that can be done from 6 feet away, and so it is imperative that we make sure we are doing all we can to keep people safe, while also returning to some sort of normality.

These events are more than frivolous fun. They are a means of community building, self-discovery, and connection. It is important that we all are able to engage with our kink! And so that is why we have decided to start hosting events again.

UPDATE 1: We are no longer requiring testing or proof of vaccination status for Bottom’s Up events only.

UPDATE 2: After careful consideration, we have decided to move to a MANDATORY TESTING policy for TASSP starting in 2024. This means that it does not matter whether or not you are vaccinated and/or boosted. EVERYONE is required to take a test prior to checking in at registration.

Notes:

Fighting/arguing/debating with the registration team about any of this is not going to help you. We expect everyone to treat our volunteers with kindness and respect. Not doing so is a quick way to be asked to leave the event.

We will not be requiring facemasks, but anyone is welcome to wear them if they choose. We do not allow for harrassment of anyone at any time for their choices about mask wearing.

TASSP 2024 COVID REQUIREMENTS

Everyone attending the party (including vendors) has 2 options:

  • Option 1: Get a PCR test done within 48 hours of check-in and show us a copy of the results. This can be a pricey option though, so you may instead use option 2.

  • Option 2: Take an “at-home” COVID test when you arrive at the party, and then take a photograph of it next to something that shows the current date (a phone, watch, newspaper, television, etc.). You cannot just write the date on it. You will then show that photo to the person at registration. (See photo example below)

    • Please do not bring your negative test to the registration table. Even if it’s negative, it’s- still your snot :)

    • If you are unable to take a photo that shows this, we encourage you to ask a friend for help!

    • If that is not possible, there will be a “testing table” open for an hour on Thursday and Friday during registration where you can take a test in the presence of the registration team.

Acquiring a test:

  • The US government is no longer offering free tests, but if you have one from when they did, that test should be fine. Just check the expiration date.

  • Any at home test that you can get at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Amazon, etc. is acceptable

  • We will provide some links for the most affordable ones we can find (usually about $5/test) online in advance of the party.

Guests who come exclusively for the vendor fair are not required to show a test, but we still strongly encourage them to test.

If you test positive for COVID, please DO NOT ATTEND. If you can provide us with evidence of the positive test during that time, we will refund your ticket minus any credit card processing fees.

This photo shows an example of what you would show at registration.
